A body-based approach to healing, guided by presence

My name is Rosa, and my work is rooted in the belief that the body holds its own wisdom.

Over the years, my path has evolved through yoga, Pilates, breathwork and somatic healing. What began as movement-based practice deepened into an embodied approach that listens beyond technique — into sensation, breath and the nervous system.

Today, I offer one-to-one, body-based sessions that support people in slowing down, reconnecting and finding balance from within.

 

My journey

Like many people drawn to this work, my own body was my first teacher.

Through years of personal exploration, study and lived experience, I came to understand that healing is not something we force, but something that unfolds when safety, presence and awareness are present.

Training in yoga and Pilates gave me a strong foundation in movement and structure. Breathwork and somatic practices opened a deeper layer — one where the body can gently release what words cannot always reach.

This combination shapes how I work today: grounded, attuned and guided by what arises in the moment

How I work

My approach is body-led, trauma-sensitive and relational.

Rather than following a fixed method, I meet you where you are. Sessions are shaped around your needs, boundaries and capacity on the day. Everything is offered as an invitation — never as a demand.

I work with:

  • somatic awareness
  • breath-led guidance
  • embodied movement (yoga & Pilates)
  • nervous system regulation

Safety, consent and choice are central in every session.

Working with me is not about fixing yourself or achieving a certain state.

It is about:

  • Listening to your body
  • Slowing down patterns of stress and overwhelm
  • rebuilding trust in your own sensations and rhythms

Ongoing learning

I believe that this work is a continuous practice — one that deepens over time.

Alongside my existing training, I am currently expanding my work through Chi Nei Tsang, a Taoist abdominal massage focused on emotional, energetic and organ balance. This modality will soon become part of my in-person sessions in Malta.

Where I work

I am based in Malta and offer:

  • 1:1 sessions in person
  • Online sessions worldwide

Sessions are available in English and Dutch.

This work is complementary in nature and does not replace medical or psychological treatment.
