My interest in yoga started around 2010. My dream was to go to India to deepen my practice and my dream became a reality in March 2018.
In India, I attended a 200-hour yoga instructor course and came back as a fully –fledged yoga instructor.
I teach a combination of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Hatha yoga involves a set of physical postures and breathing techniques and is practiced slowly and with more static postures.
Vinyasa yoga is a flowing, dynamic sequence of poses where you seamlessly move from position to another.
Yoga increases flexibility and muscle strength, tone as well as gives a better posture. Yoga improves energy levels and boosts the immune system. It calms the mind and helps you sleep better. It also makes you happier!
The good thing with yoga is that you can do it anywhere and anytime. It can be practised by people of all ages and you never get bored.
You can always improve yourself and inspire others.
If you have an injury or if you are not yet that flexible, the positions can be adapted to suit you. As you get more experienced, you can deepen a pose, making sure you get the most out of it.
Try it out and see what benefits it has for your body. You have nothing to lose!
